Linen Kaftan MEDA – tradition, lightness and natural elegance
The kaftan is a garment with a long history, born from the need for movement, comfort and elegance. In Morocco, it emphasized ceremonial femininity and prestige; in the Ottoman Empire and Persia, it protected the body from the sun while providing freedom of movement. Today, the kaftan has become a symbol of relaxation, lightness and minimalist style that respects the natural lines of the body and connects functionality with timeless elegance.
Kaftan MEDA draws from this tradition – inspired by the history of the kaftan and its natural shape, we designed this piece with the idea of maximum freedom of movement, a gentle embrace of the silhouette and comfort for everyday life. The fabric flows freely along the body, allowing your energy to move naturally and providing a feeling of lightness, protection and natural femininity.
The linen kaftan MEDA features a clean, straight cut and a deep V-neckline finished with a soft, wider hem. This principle repeats on the sleeves and the bottom hem, unifying the design and giving the kaftan a harmonious, thoughtful and very subtle elegance. The kaftan is also enhanced with discreet pockets, which increase its practicality and comfort. The maxi version of the kaftan is complemented by a discreet back slit, allowing a free stride and comfortable movement without compromising the elegant line of the garment.
The straight cut flatters all body types. The kaftan can be worn on its own as a dress or combined as a layered cover-up over swimwear.
The linen kaftan is made from 100% fine, softened linen. Each linen piece undergoes additional softening, making the garment soft, beautifully draping and wonderfully gentle to the touch. You will love the breathable material on hot days.
