Linen Pillowcase with Ruffle WHITE

The character of the pillow is completed by a delicate ruffle with a raw, naturally frayed edge. The edge of the ruffle is not finished or folded – we intentionally left it free so it can naturally work, live, and gently evolve with every wash. Below the fraying line, the ruffle is carefully overlocked several times to keep the fraying within natural limits and prevent it from developing uncontrollably. It is precisely this balance between control and freedom that creates a perfectly imperfect detail that is inherent to linen. Even with careful overlocking, individual fibers may gradually loosen during washing and the ruffle will continue to fray naturally. This subtle evolution is part of its charm — linen lives, changes, and ages into even greater beauty.
