The edge of the ruffle is not finished or folded – we intentionally left it free so it can naturally work, live, and gently change with every wash. Below the fraying line, the ruffle is carefully overlocked several times to ensure the fraying stays within natural limits and does not develop uncontrollably. Even so, individual fibers may gradually loosen with washing and the ruffle will continue to fray naturally. This evolution is part of its charm — linen lives, changes and ages into even greater beauty.
