The small linen napkin 35 × 35 cm is minimalist in its format, yet behind each piece there is a long and careful journey – from selecting high-quality linen, through softening and precise dyeing, to final stitching.

A delicate hem keeps its shape without restricting the natural freedom of linen. The napkin is not just a practical accessory – it is a small ritual that reminds us that breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, or a festive dinner deserves slowing down and experiencing it fully present.

The Frosty Grey shade is light, cool, and gentle grey, sitting on the border between white and grey, and allowing the natural texture of linen to stand out. Its neutral tone pairs easily with any tablecloth or placemat, especially with natural and pastel colors.

We offer the napkins in a practical set of 4 or 6 pieces.

SOPHISTICATED SOFTENING AND DYEING

In our workshop, linen undergoes a technically demanding softening process, thanks to which it feels pleasant to the touch and is naturally supple. Each finished tablecloth also goes through an additional material-softening treatment, giving the linen exceptional softness and creating the calm, gentle texture characteristic of LIIN products.

Linen dyeing is a slow and focused process. It takes place in small, limited batches and always piece by piece, with respect for the material and its natural structure. We entrust it to experts who truly understand linen and know how to work with it sensitively – without rush, without pressure. Thanks to this, subtle nuances in shades emerge, which are not flaws but a quiet signature of handcraft. Each tablecloth thus carries its own character and a slight uniqueness.

We design them to harmonize with one another, to be easily combined across collections, and to create a harmonious whole of linen textiles. Each napkin is sewn in our workshop with an emphasis on detail and precise workmanship. We choose a timeless and calm design that does not follow trends – with carefully finished corners and a firm perimeter hem that holds its shape without disturbing the lightness of the material.  

 SPECIFICATIONS

• 100% natural linen – we use softened and pre-shrunk European linen, woven in the Czech Republic.
• Local production – we sew in our workshop in the Czech Republic, in small batches.
• Additional softening – we additionally soften the linen with traditional textile specialists. Using a demanding technique, we achieve a softer linen with a faded and washed effect.
• Long lifespan – high-quality linen from the Czech Republic and precise sewing ensure long-lasting products.
